We know and understand that you may be going through a tough time emotionally right now and that you may need someone to talk to. With that in mind we have created the following list of adoption related support groups and websites for birth mothers. Each offers something a little different but all of them try to offer support, encouragement, and adoption related information. Do not be surprised if the list below provides limited adoption support group and support information for a birth mother or birth father.  It is just a reflection of the fact that not enough support resources exist.

Bmom is a birth mother support group, started by a birth mother, where you can talk about your feelings concerning placing your child for adoption.

Birth Mother Resources will help any woman who wants to know more about her pregnancy and about resources that can help her to either raise her child herself or place the child for adoption with a loving family.

Colorado Department of Human Services can help you with issues of pregnancy, parenting, foster care, and adoption.

Concerned United Birth Parent (CUB) provides support for a birth mother or birth father who has already relinquished a child to adoption.
