If you are pregnant or have already given birth we want you to know that we are here to help you free of charge regardless of whether you are considering placing a child for adoption or are looking for information to help you raise your child.   If we can assist you in any way please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email 24 hours a day.

Introduction

The introduction provides information about us and the ways we can help you if you are pregnant or have already given birth.

Pregnancy Issues

Pregnancy issues contains information to help you and your unborn baby with information and resources.  It addresses home and clinic based pregnancy tests as well as pregnancy symptoms and the stages of pregnancy.  We have also included information regarding prenatal care, selecting a hospital or birthing center and provided a pregnancy calendar to help you know what to expect.

Pregnancy Concerns

Pregnancy concerns addresses morning sickness, nutrition and diet, alcohol and drugs, labor and delivery and depression.  We also provide resources to help you find pregnancy crisis centers.

Pregnancy Help

Pregnancy help provides information about financial assistance, medical, emotionaland nutritional help and assistance from government and private sources. We have also provided pregnancy support groups to help a pregnant woman.  Please note that our section on pregnancy provides a huge amount of information regarding issues such as financial assistance and medical, emotional and nutritional help.

Government Help

Government help offers information and resources to help a pregnant woman or a woman who has given birth to find free or low-cost services including breast and cervical cancer detection programs, child health insurance programs, child nutrition programs, child welfare agencies, early head start, state education departments, food banks, food stamps, state health departments, home energy assistance programs, state medicaid contacts, unemployment compensation, Women Infants and Children programs and much more.

Adoption Choices

Adoption choices explains the choices that are available to you including whether you want an open or closed adoption, whether you should participate in a private or agency adoption or use an adoption facilitator. Also discussed is your right to choose the adopting family if that is what you wish to do.

Adoption Help

Adoption help suggests the first steps to take regarding the adoption process, how to select an adoption agency and how to assure the perfect loving home for your child.  This section also provides you with adoption support groups and with information about the emotional issues involved in an adoption as well as the special situations where you are placing the child with a relative or the child is being adopted by a step-parent.

Adoption Laws and Rights

Adoption laws and rights can help you understand the legal rights of the birth mother and birth father as well as grandparent rights.  We also provide information on the adoption law of every state.

Parenting Your Child

Parenting and raising your child contains information on child development and health as well as information on breastfeeding and infant nutrition.  Information for birth fathers and information on where to find parenting support groups is also provided.

Mother and Child Safety

Mother and Child Safety provides information about the Home Study, reducing risks, new safe havens, and child abuse as well as domestic violence and shelters for a woman and for her child(ren).
