Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is all too common with a woman or her child frequently the the victim. Please, do not hesitate to seek help for yourself or for a child if help is needed.

 

Domestic Violence

The National domestic violence hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or 1-800-787-3224 (TTY) offers help to anyone involved in a domestic violence situation. They help victims as well as survivors, friends and family members.  They also provide information on sexual assault, battering intervention and prevention programs.  Please make sure to call them if you need help.

 

National Child Abuse Hotline

National Child Abuse Toll-free Hotline [1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453)] operates all day and night every day of the year.  You can call the Hotline from anywhere in the U.S. or in Canada. The staff at the Hotline provide confidential help. Please make sure to take advantage of this excellent resource if you are in danger of abusing a child or if you think you know of any child being abused.

Childhelp is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse. The Web site includes information on nationwide facilities, helpful links, Childhelp programs, the National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-4-A-CHILD), and child abuse reports.
