Medications, alcohol, and illegal drugs will impact on your unborn child.  Drinking alcohol and taking drugs during your pregnancy can cause birth defects. If you have been consuming drugs or alcohol, don't panic but read on.   Stop drinking and taking drugs immediately and make sure to let your doctor and your adoption agency know so that they can help you.

Crises pregnancy centers are available across the U.S. and Canada to help you.  These crises pregnancy centers can offer support, practical help, and options counseling.  If there is a crisis pregnancy center nearby, you need not face this challenge alone.
