Your pregnancy can be a very stressful time physically, emotionally, and financially.  There are sources of financial aid, free and reduced-cost medical care, free food, and free and low-cost health insurance available  to you and other women who need assistance. Federal, state and local programs, community free clinics, state child welfare offices and other organizations offering financial, medical help and nutritional help are provided.

Right now you may be worried about the many extra expenses related to your care, prenatal care, preparing for a new baby, and then the care of the baby.We created this financial help section of our website to assist you in finding help.

You may be worried about getting adequate prenatal care and medical care for yourself and then for your child. Many parents have children who do not have any or adequate insurance. You and your child may be eligible for free or low-cost health insurance and other free medical help services as described in this section.
