Since our founding in 1985, we have worked with thousands of birth parents and adopting families from all over the world and our overall satisfaction rating is excellent. We are committed to putting your needs first and to helping you in every way possible. All calls are confidential and there is never any obligation or cost to you for our help.
Regarding adoptions from this foreign country:
Adoption from Vietnam to the United States has a long and rather tumultuous history. During its peak, in the late 1990's and early 2000's, Vietnam was one of top 10 sending countries to the US. In 2004-2005, adoptions to the US ceased as a new law was implemented and agreement reached between the two countries. Adoptions resumed in 2006. Currently, adoptions are conducted at the orphanage and province level, with national oversight. Vietnam now has a national licensing approval procedure for individual US adoption agencies. Vietnam is requiring all U.S. adoption agencies desiring to operate in Vietnam to be licensed by the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice’s Department of International Adoptions (DIA).
Most children adopted from Vietnam have been infants, although special needs, older child and toddler adoptions are not uncommon.
