Early Head Start (EHS) is a U.S. government program for pregnant women and for low-income families with infants and toddlers. Early Head Start promotes healthy prenatal care for pregnant women, facilitates the healthy the development of young children and tries to create healthy family functioning. Each of the U.S. 50 states' Early Head Start programs is responsible for determining its own eligibility criteria with income being a significant factor in determining eligibility.  For each U.S. state we have listed the information and website link to help you contact Early Head Start.
