Our Agency, Adoption Services, Inc. can help you with a domestic adoption, but we are no longer doing international adoptions due to problems that can occur in any international adoption. We are a fully licensed non-profit adoption agency that helps birth parents and families living in any state in the U.S. and we can also help U.S. citizens living in any foreign country. Since our founding in 1985, we have worked with thousands of birth parents and adopting families from all over the world and our overall satisfaction rating is excellent. We are committed to putting your needs first and to helping you in every way possible. Feel free to contact us or call (toll-free 1(800)943-0400) if you have any questions or if you want our guidance or help. All calls are confidential and there is never any obligation or cost to you for our help.
Regarding adoptions from this foreign country:
The Republic of Georgia has been closed to adoptions by foreign citizens. There have been virtually no adoptions from Georgia by US citizens since 2003. However, in August 2006, the Georgia Ministry of Education informed the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia that a very limited number of Georgian children are eligible for intercountry adoption. Georgia does not require adoption agencies to be licensed or accredited.
